In the Basic Boat Canvas class we cover materials, fasteners, zippers, tubing, fittings and threads. We will also review "tools of the trade". You will learn to design and bend frames for a bimini w/full enclosure or a convertible top w/curtain. You will pull patterns using the "Dot System" of patterning, cut/sew your project, then install and critique. We will also cover some basic sewing machine repair and maintenance.
